Never played any Luigi games until Luigi remake three so this will be brand new to me

Its not that i dont like the art for brothership but i just like the 2D pixel’s for 2ds and stuff much more

I know people aren't happy with the games full price and underwelming updated visuals but personally being able to play this game again is enough for me. I loved this game on the 3ds and I know people often push it aside compared to the other games because of its structure but its one of the first games that got me really invested in fully completing them and its the game that made me really like luigi as a character

You need to go watch the Digital Foundry technical review. You're looking at the original 3DS release through rose-colored glasses. The graphical improvements in the remake are extensive, as you can see side-by-side in that review.

Luigi's Mansion 1 had the best ghosts, but they should combined Luigi's Mansion 1 & 3 types of fights.

Something for later down the line (either post chapter 5 when this becomes available, or during a pit run/the optional new boss that isn't in the pit when the strat is most likely to be employed), but in the original, if you chet rippo'd yourself down to 5 hp so you could, oh say, trade in for bp and a bunch of power rushes, the danger jingle would always play in battle (as in, danger would always play between 2-5 hp, even if you're capped out because of Chet Rippo. Rendundant, I know, but I like to be as clear as I can). In the new version, while the danger jingle would normally play between 2-5 hp, if you chet rippo yourself down to 5, it only plays between 2-4 hp, probably in part because 5 is your current max, and probably in part to mitigate the annoyance of danger build players.

Heres a collectible concept Pepole loves custom stages, but it is incredibly limited. You can give people backgrounds, textures, and hazards from all the stages in the game.

Bro you hated on totk for not using traditional weapons/puzzles, and instead relying on the ultra hand and fuse abilities for puzzles. But then you go and praise this game for doing the same thing with the tri rod and echos? Make it make sense.

Completely disagree, sorry. Too many options for puzzles = too easy, lots of hand-holding, in game suggestions. The baby graphics only reinforce my fear.

I loved this game on the Ds and i don't care about how it is just a slight visual improvement but the price is just insulting. I was always a defender of the game but there's no way it's worth full price, a decade later

Regarding the TEC bit, it was always obvious he was based off of HAL-9000, albeit with completely inverse alignments. The red lens is probably just leaning more into the aesthetic of HAL, at this point.

Why would we compare “Luigi’s Mansion 2” to “Luigi’s Mansion 3” if “Luigi’s Mansion 3” is technically the better version and is more similar to the original “Luigi’s Mansion” the number 3 is bigger than 2 so it’s obviously gonna be better, but if we were talking about “Luigi’s Mansion 4” (still not out) that would be a different story.

A difference is in the pit of 100 trials,when you fight bonetail,his eyes are white,while in the remake,his eyes are black,resembling a skeleton he is.

I want to try it again, because I didn't like the combat in LM3. The third game off course has better presentation and format, but it also was easier given the co-op nature, the reliance on the slam move, and bosses being more style than substance. Unlike the first game we don't get to know about any of those backstories. Also my big deal was how the grading in LM3 was only at the very end. Money and treasures are meaningless since even the store doesn't have enticing things to spend those collectibles. LM2 I recall having more challenge by the end. Money and treasures were tied to the progression system. The games was made for a single player, each mission has it's own grade and score so it adds some replay value improving at them, considering one of the aspects it grades you is in not taking damage. I also want to confirm if the Scarescraper is better than in 3. Since a thing I didn't liked was how often your character was caught in a trap and had to rely on others to get out of it. Also the time felt too tight for some objectives.

I NEVER played any Luigis Mansion games. I went XB and kept on PC gaming after the N64 era. So just this summer I got Switch OLED and games including L.M 3. I will pick up L.M 2 Dark Moon and sure would wish they remastered the first L.M game too! So I could do it chronologically. Though Im not afraid to be too spoiled. Its about the journey and OWN experiences and opinions. Alredy indulged myself with what cut content and icebergs there are about at least the first game. Im a lore and mystery hound😂

I think it's worth pointing out that the reason why the mission structure even exists is because of the console it was on. Generally with a 3ds, they figured people are more likely to play it in shorter intervals rather than dedicating a bunch of hours at once like one would with a stationary console. Regardless if someone likes that formatting or not, that's why it was there. (I personally do really like the mission structure when I don't feel like committing a ton of time to a game, but that's just me.) That being said, the switch acts as both a portable and stationary console, and the reason why the mission structure wasn't in LM3 was because they were listening to feedback. So I'm surprised that they didn't change it for this remaster. It's a bit disappointing, to say the least, since I would love to experience Dark Moon with an exploratory gameplay.

I am so acited for luigi's mansion 2 HD. I have always wanted this on switch^^. So when they anouce this i pre order it. Yes i played luigis mansion 2 on my 3DS. But i will also play it on my switch. Yes i may have beat luigi's mansion 3 8 times. However luigis mansion 2 will always be my favorite
